Formerly called The Venice Flute Circle, Wind Echoes is a local group of Native flute enthusiasts who have been meeting monthly in Venice for several years, to enjoy playing, learning, and sharing their love of Native American flute music and music-making. With a new name and a new meeting place, they are ready to begin a new season. New to Native American flutes? You are invited to join them and discover your Heartsong. They'll teach you the basics. An ability to read music is not needed, and flutes are available for loan. Whether new to the group or an 'old' friend who already enjoys playing, everyone is welcome to join them for some sharing and jamming. Open to the public, no reservations needed. Donations requested to cover expenses. For more information, please call Nancy 488-2072, or Bill 441-5158. Wind Echoes Flute Circle will now meet on the 3rd Friday each month from 7-9pm, at The Rhythm Inlet, north end Nokomis, Florida, Tamiami Trail west side.
