La Leche League of Sarasota

Please join us in our continuing series of informal discussion meetings. We welcome all women, especially those pregnant or nursing, interested in learning more about breastfeeding and mothering. Babies are always welcome! Bring your questions and concerns about breastfeeding. Meetings are FREE of charge. At meetings we share personal stories and practical tips about breastfeeding and parenting. Discussions topics include, but are not limited to: the benefits of human milk, breastfeeding basics, planning for baby, there is a new baby in your life, the normal course of breastfeeding, becoming a mother, questions mothers ask, thoughts on weaning, baby's changing needs, and family nutrition.

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing support, encouragement, information, and education to women who want to breastfeed.
