Sarasota’s Got Talent Competition Opens Auditions on September 12 at Plymouth Harbor with Final Competition Open to the Public on September 25 - Sponsored by Julie Rohr Academy

SARASOTA'S GOT TALENT COMPETITION

[Sarasota, FL] The Center for Musical theatre at the Julie Rohr Academy is sponsoring a community-wide “Sarasota’s Got Talent” competition with the preliminary auditions set for September 12 from 9 am to 5 pm at Plymouth Harbor (700 John Ringling Blvd, Sarasota).

Singers, dancers, actors, instrumentalists from five to ninety-five are are all welcome to audition.

Competitors will be judged in three categories – juvenile, teen and adults – by a team of judges from
The Players, Golden Apple Dinner Theater, SRQ Media Group, and the University of Central Florida. The winner in each category will receive a cash prize of $200.

To register click ‘performing arts’ at www.julierohracademy.com or pick up the registration form at the Julie Rohr Academy ( 4466 Fruitville Road, Sarasota). There is a registration fee of $25 for each competing act at the auditions on September 12.



The finals will be held 6:30 pm on Friday, September 25 at the Sarasota Military Academy ( 801 N. Orange Avenue). Tickets for the final performance are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and can be purchased at the door.
