BarCampTampaBay is a community building event which happens twice a year to bring together people from different technology backgrounds to share and learn from one another.
Saturday Sept. 26 will again be Dev Day, where last year we discussed Mobile Apps, iPhone apps, Adobe AIR, WinBatch, Python, RubyonRails, Voice
Apps, Project Management, Ning, Erlang, Django, Twitter, and PHP. (Last year’s agenda)
Sunday, Sept. 27 will be New Media Day, where last year presentations centered on Twitter, Blogging, Rich Internet Apps, social media,
podcasting, Internet Video, SEO, Contextual Ads, mobile marketing, RSS, Jelly, VoIP.
Each day's agenda is created on-site at the start of the day. There are NO pre-arranged sessions or topics. If you would like to present a topic come
early and sign-up to speak.
Some people have been asking to find out who's speaking when — hate to burst your bubble, but that won't be decided until the day of the event. Luckily, if that makes you a little uneasy... There's an app for that! One of the developers who plans to speak at the conference, a gentleman named Barry Ezell, created a FREE app to track the speakers throughout the day at the event. I highly recommend you download it here to prepare for the big day: http://bit.ly/1aegmb
P.S. Ahem, $20,000 worth of Mac software. Just a reminder.
