Sarasota and Manatee County Children and Teens Invited to Audition for Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker

The West Coast Civic Ballet (WCCB) is organizing open auditions for the Moscow Ballet's performance of the Great Russian Nutcracker on Saturday, October 17,2009 at 3 pm. The audition is open to children and teens with dance experience between the ages of 7 and 18.

Auditions will be held at SRQ Dance, Inc. (3303 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota) and be conducted by Deborah Vinton, artistic director of WCCB and Judith Johnson of Judy Lee Johnson Dance School. Dancers are required to dress in dance apparel; advanced dancers should bring pointe shoes. There will be a $25.00 audition fee for applications received by October 8, and $30.00 thereafter.
Selected dancers will have the opportunity to perform with the Moscow Ballet at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota on Tuesday, December 29th at 7:30 pm
