3rd Annual Sarasota World War I Conference

The third Annual Sarasota World War I Conference will be held at the Harley Sandcastle on January 29, 2014. Moderated by author Robert J. Delessandro, the Conference will have lectures about the Eastern Front in the Great War, the Allied Intervention in Russia, Fighter Pilots on the Western Front, the Strategic Impact of Verdun and the Somme, the US Army versus the Marine Corps and a panel discussion among this year's presenters, Edwin C. Bearss, Roger Cirillo, George A. Kranz, Colonel Jerry D. Morelock and Jack Tunstall. During the Conference, World War I Memorabilia courtesy of George Kranz will be displayed.  A. Parker's Books and Book Bazaar, Sarasota will also bring a representation of their stock to the Conference for purchase by those attending. It's a well organized and highly educational event, and A.
