Anis Mojgani at New College of Florida

Renowned slam poet Anis Mojgani will be performing a set of his original work at the New College of Florida for students and the general public on Saturday, 19 February 2011 starting at 7pm. Anis Mojgani was a back-to-back champion at the National Individual Poetry Slam in 2005 and 2006. He has published two collections of his poetry, including most
recently The Feather Room. The show at New College will be in the Harry Sudakoff Center located at 5845 General Dougher Place and followed by an informal question and answer session. Original spoken word poetry will also be performed by New College students prior to Anis Mojgani's set. The event is expected to last two hours.
