Sarasota’s Art Uptown Gallery Invites Artists to 4th Annual Dog Days Show 

Art Uptown, Sarasota’s oldest artist-owned fine art gallery, invites area artists to enter its 4th Annual Dog Days Art Show this summer and display their work in the gallery. The juried exhibit will run from July 28 to Aug. 24. An opening reception will be Friday, Aug. 3, 6-9 p.m. in the gallery.

 All subjects in 2D media are eligible. Judges will select three winning entries to be prominently displayed in the gallery’s Main Street window for two weeks, then moved into the gallery. Other entries will be on display in the gallery.

 Artists 21 and older can submit two 2D works in any media, but only one work per artist will be accepted for the exhibit. Work must be for sale and priced. The gallery takes 25% commission on all sales.

Receiving date is Saturday, July 28, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring your work to the gallery and fill out an entry form. Entry fee is $20 for each entry. Overall size is limited to 30”x30”, including frame. Plexiglas only. Works must be wired for hanging. Rejected work pick-up will be on Monday, July 30, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Final pickup of work in exhibit is Friday, Aug. 24, 10-5 pm.
