Event Description

Our 6th annual Asian Cultural Festival will take place in the beautiful bayfront gardens on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20.

Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. with performances and activities throughout the day. Featured performers include the Matsuriza Taiko Drummers, the lion dancers from Tang Martial Arts Center, and Purnama Sari Balinese Dance Troupe.

Try your hand at origami, calligraphy, mah jongg, Sumi-e painting and o...ther Asian arts. Enjoy a lecture and tour of the Sarna Collection of Asian Sculpture, and peruse a stunning collection of kimonos. Demonstrations in the Gardens include Bonsai cultivation, Ikebana, Tai Chi, Yoga, and traditional martial arts.
The Garden Shop will feature a variety of plants and home décor at great festival prices. Other vendors will offer an array of delicious Asian food, thai massage, and more.

Selby Gardens Members attend the Asian Cultural Festival at no charge. Admission for non-member adults (age 12 and up) is $17; children 11 and under attend the Asian Festival free; please no reciprocals or guest passes. For new members only, join Selby Gardens during this festival and receive a $10 discount on the regular membership price.
