Book Lecture with Buddhist Scholar Anyen Rinpoche - DYING WITH CONFIDENCE

Can death be a spiritual awakening? How can we prepare for death with confidence and courage? Tibetan Buddhist scholar, Anyen Rinpoche will speak on these topics using advice from his newest book, Dying with Confidence.
Rinpoche invites people of all beliefs to this lecture and the weekend retreat that follows. As he often tells students, regardless of anyone’s faith, death will certainly come to all of us.
Rinpoche will give guidelines for writing a ‘spiritual will’ and practical suggestions for creating conditions for a more conscious death. He will also teach us to recognize the signs of death when we or a loved one is dying. Whether death is experienced in a hospital, at home, or in an unexpected place and time, a deeper meaning can be brought to one’s experience. Suggested donation for this event is $10.
