Event Description

Brenda Alcorn, a retired English teacher at Manatee High School, has become well known locally for her mixed-media art that evolves from her love of nature. In her July Featured Artist Exhibit entitled “The Spirit of Nature," Ms. Alcorn will show paintings she creates using the Japanese Gyotaku technique of printing with fish. Her recent watercolors and nature photography will also be included. The special exhibit will run through July 31, 2015.
