Event Description

Art classes at the Celery Barn Gallery. For more information call (941-330-6865.

Offered to adults and kids 13 and up. Each class will run for 4 weeks starting February 3rd. You can mentioned that March schedule will be available third Friday in February.

10:00 - 12:00 pm - Batik technique. Students will create their own batik masterpieces: scarfs, pillow cases and etc. Inspiration for batik will be Florida foliage, flowers, birds or contemporary abstract. Fee: $140/4 classes. Material fee will apply or bring your own material.

1pm - 3pm - Acrylic Painting: Power of color and design. Students will work with Still Life and focus on composition and color mixing technique. Beginners are welcome. Fee: $140/4 classes. Bring your own material.

3:30pm - 5:30pm - Paint your own masterpiece. Every participant will choose the artistic style and color pallet to create the very unique piece which will be a great addition to the living space of your home, dining room, kitchen, kids room or office. The instructor will guide you through the whole process helping to make the right artistic decisions. Or bring your unfinished piece and we will guide you to create a stunning artwork. Fee: $140/4 classes. Bring your own material.

6:00 - 8:00pm - Quilling. Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is rolled, looped, curled, twisted and otherwise manipulated to create shapes which make up designs to decorate greetings cards, pictures, boxes, eggs, and to make models, jewellery, mobiles etc. Fee: $140/4 classes. Material fee will apply.
