CUPID. COSMOS. CINEMA

In celebration of National Marriage Week Family Resources, in partnership with the Village of the Arts, is pleased to present the inaugural “Cupid. Cosmos. Cinema.” event on Friday, February 12, 2010. Festivities begin at 5pm with live music by Straight Up, art, food and drink. An outdoor screening of the romantic classic “An Affair to Remember” starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr.begins at 7pm.Stroll the Village and enjoy the film for free. Galleries will remain open until 9:30. Food and drinks available for purchase. Proceeds to benefit Family Resources and The Village of the Arts. Participating restaurants include SOMA Diner, Polo Grill, Mattison’s, and others. As a part of Realize Bradenton, this is a Bradenton Downtown Development sponsored event. The Village of the Arts is an arts community located between 9th and 16th Avenues and 9th and 14th Streets. It is home to over 35 artists’ galleries and studios including 3 eateries and 1 bookstore.
