Event Description

Playshop with Jeff Hanna of The Rhythm Inlet. Welcome all adults, motivated teens, and accompanied youth ages 9 and up. Learn to play the oldest known, and most universal hand-drum. Many folkloric traditions around the world include some sort of frame drum, often played with the bare, whole hand. We'll focus on Arabic, Nubian & Brazilian styles and rhythms. Drums provided, available for purchase, or b.y.o.. No musical experience needed, this is a drum EVERYONE can play! Call for info or to register. $25; discounted to $20 if register by Jan 2!
