BarCamp Sarasota is a newly formed group of professionals with an interest in technology, new media, film, green technology, education and economic development. The first BarCamp started in Palo Alto, California in 2005 and has expanded to over 350 cities worldwide. The “un-conference” implements the concept that some of the best learning at any conference takes place while networking with other professionals between scheduled sessions.
