Global Gift Fair at St. Boniface Church on Siesta Key

Just in time for holiday shopping, the 9th Annual Global Gift Fair will be held on Saturday, November 13 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and Sunday, November 14 (8:30 AM – 1:30 PM) at St. Boniface Episcopal Church on Siesta Key. The 3rd Annual Art Show and Sale will be held at concurrently.

The Gift Fair features hundreds of handcrafted fair trade items. You’ll find unique jewelry, ornaments, baskets, hand carved items, fine chocolate, teas, coffees, olive oil, jams, chutneys and other special treasures from Guatemala, Haiti, Swaziland, Peru, Zimbabwe, India and Thailand, among other places. Fair trade is an organized social movement that assists marginalized producers and workers in developing countries by paying them fair wages, thereby giving them a stronger voice in the market and improved living conditions for their communities.

Proceeds from the fair will benefit St. Boniface community outreach ministries. This is an excellent opportunity to choose the perfect, distinctive gift while supporting third world justice as well as local needs.
