Event Description

New College of Florida is partnering with the Herald-Tribune Media Group to host the newspaper’s Hot Topics series, community forums on issues that affect your life. The first program of 2011-2012 will examine the status of business in our region, economic diversification and the potential for growing local businesses.

The discussion will begin with a brief snapshot of how the local economy has changed over the past five years, and then shift to what steps have been taken – and what must be done going forward – to put the region on more stable economic footing. The forum will include a panel discussion moderated by Tom Tryon, Herald-Tribune Opinion Editor.
