Workshop with Jeff Hanna, co-owner of The Rhythm Inlet. Welcome all adults, motivated teens, and youth ages 10 and up w/ instructor permission. No musical experience needed! Learn how to properly swing the double-knobbed stick, called a tipper, to play exciting "jiggity jig" rhythms on the "Bao-rahn", "Boh-rahn" (both are correct), the flat, round frame drum of the British Isles. We'll also cover how to play the The Bones, a folkloric percussion instrument. Instruments provided, available for purchase, or b.y.o.. Registration strongly suggested! Visit the website above, and click on "Registration". $25, or only $20 when you register by January 4! |
