Part 1 is Saturday, January 9, Part 2 is Saturday, January 23. Both are 3-5pm. Workshops with Jeff Hanna of The Rhythm Inlet. Welcome all adults & motivated teens. No musical experience needed! Made popular in this country by Desi Arnaz, the congas are the heartbeat of Latin music, and have found their way into jazz and rock as well. Basic hand technique and rhythms will be taught. Beginners welcome. Let's Babaloooo! $42 for both nights, b.y.o. conga and stand; or $48, includes drum and stand rental.
