Members of the Moving Ethos Dance Company will perform a Contact Improvisation Demonstration from 5:30 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 9 in the College Hall Music Room. This event is free and open to the public. Audience participation will be encouraged!
Moving Ethos was founded by Courtney Smith in 2006 as an effort to further the art form of dance on the West coast of Florida. In 2007, Moving Ethos acquired the talented Leah Verier-Dunn as co-Director. Together, these two Sarasota natives are giving back to the community that fostered their artistic growth, while bringing the arts back into the spotlight of human life. In 2008, the company got it’s paperwork and became a non-profit corporation with it’s 501c3 tax exempt status. This official status both enlivens the mission and helps accomplish the vision of this dance company.
