The Sarasota Pops' February concert, entitled Nights in White Satin, is living up to its season's promise of being one to remember. This year the Pops will be giving away four weddings, and it's season theme is, "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue."

The "Something Blue" for the February 10 concert is guest conductor Graeme Edge, drummer for the Moody Blues This fantastic afternoon of music will feature Bach’s Toccata and Fugue and Vivaldi’s Spring Concerto, to Smetana’s the Moldeau and Resphigi’s Pines of Rome guest conducted by Graeme Edge and featuring the brass section from Manatee High School, to new music entitled Blue Shades by Frank Ticheli,
Four couples are competing for the honor of being married in the Sarasota Opera House, on April 21, 2013, with music provided by the Pops Orchestra. All four couples earn complete wedding packages provided by local florists, bakers, tuxedo rentals, limousines, and more.
The next Pops concert will be presented February 10, 3:00 p.m. at Church of the Palms, 3224 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota. FL
