The sound of the handbell is sweet and silvery. Ring Sarasota, an elite ensemble of 14 handbell ringers, brings their expert use of this amazingly powerful yet ethereal bell tone to a repertoire of classical favorites. Known for concerts that appeal to one and all, director Rick Holdsworth leads them in performances all along the Gulf Coast. Their program, “Music From Around the World,” features music from Russia, Japan, the Caribbean, Africa, England and the USA.
