Event Description

SFF 2012 starts with the flash of camera bulbs as the stars descend on Sarasota to walk the red carpet and take in our Opening Night Film, ROBOT AND FRANK.

A delightful dramatic comedy set sometime in the near future, the film stars Frank Langella, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, Susan Sarandon and Peter Sarsgaard, and explores our evolving relationship with technology through an unlikely duo.

After the film, you’re invited to join us in the Van Wezel’s Bayfront Grand Foyer for food, drinks and dancing.
