Winemaker Night at Michael's Wine Cellar's Tasting Room After-Dark

Join us this Thursday for a very special Tasting Room After-Dark! We will be “willkommen” German winemaker, Barbara Rundquist-Muller of Dr. Thanisch Estates from 5 to 8 pm. Frau Rundquist-Muller is coming to Sarasota and Michael’s Wine Cellar to sample some of her wines during Michael’s Tasting Room After-Dark.

In addition to sampling wines by Dr. Thanisch, you’ll also be able to order them by the glass, and bottles will be availabl...e for purchase in Michael’s Wine Cellar.

The Tasting Room After-Dark at Michael’s Wine Cellar, is the “new” premiere after work/wine-night out spot in Sarasota. Open every Thursday evening from 5 to 10 pm, each week, enjoy different wines and Champagnes by the glass, craft beers and small plates.

Dr. Thanisch Muller-Burggnaef Estate:
The wine-growing tradition of the Thanisch family can be traced back more than 350 years. In 1636, the name was mentioned for the first time in the registers of Bernkastel-Kues. The quality of the family´s wines soon extended their excellent reputation far beyond the Mosel valley. In 1785, Dr. Hugo Thanisch founded the Dr. H. Thanisch Estate. His grand-daughter, Margrit Muller-Burggnaef left the estate to her niece Barbara in 2007.
