WINTER CARNIVAL SOUTHWEST FLORIDA STYLE

This year’s Winter Carnival takes place January 20, 21, and 22, 2011 at both the Beach Bistro on Anna Maria Island and at The Concession Golf Club in Manatee County. Proceeds from this food/wine/golf weekend benefit All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg.
The world-class Winter Carnival weekend starts off with an intimate dinner at the Beach Bistro Thursday, January 20.
A seasonal luncheon at The Concession Golf Club and a golf tournament on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course takes place on Friday, January 21 with an informal food and wine tasting in the evening. There’s a noon wine seminar Saturday, 1/22 hosted by Professor Michael Weiss of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (CIA) and he will be joined by celebrity chefs for culinary demonstrations. Festivities conclude with a gala multi-course tasting dinner on Saturday night at The Concession Golf Club. The dinner is hosted by famed chef Roy Yamaguchi (founder of Roy’s) and several celebrity guest chefs from all over the country. Call 941-778-6444 for further information.
