Nightrise, R.A. Spyder’s first book, is a fantasy fiction novel about twin orphans Amy and Matt Nightrise and their journey to discover the truth about their parents, and through them, learn the truth about themselves.

Here is an excerpt from Nightrise: The Ascension of Darkness (the Beginning of the Elementals Saga)-

A man in a cloak, as dark as the night around him, stood in the entrance to the labyrinth. A cold chill of excitement raced along his spine. He was intoxicated by adrenaline. This was it. This simple doorway stood for everything for which he had longed. Long, thin, pale fingers splayed like a skeletal spider over the door frame, stroking it lovingly. Everyone who had hurt him, everyone who had brought him down would suffer, and his master would return. The only thing standing in their way was the Nightrise boy. Not for long though…
