Today I am a confident, successful business owner. I am a certified life and career coach woo focuses on helping women overcome obstacles and improve the quality of their lives. I also create and present workshops designed exclusively for women and teach classes in self-esteem and empowerment at the Venice Women's Resource Center.

I was not always confident and, in fact, I was very insecure, intimidated, and had low self-esteem as a young women. I was a true victim and an enabler. I believed that I didn't deserve a better life than I had with a man who thought of me more as 'his property' than his equal. I eventually got the courage to leave that bad marriage filled with abuse and unhappiness and start a new life. I decided I wanted a better life, I deserved a better life and started to work toward making my dreams come true.

It was hard work and very challenging - but I did it! I am no longer a victim - I AM A SURVIVOR AND PROUD OF THAT FACT. I have dedicated my life to helping other women understand that they can change their lives too.

Hello, My name is Sage Hall and I am a local small business owner. I started StarFruit Productions, a wedding cinematography company, two years ago and have had such an adventure ever since! On Nov 20th we were announced as the winners of The Best Wedding Video
in The Knot’s 2nd Annual Real Wedding Awards. It is such an honor as we were chosen from over 400 videos from around the world. The editors narrowed it down to ten finalists and then people voted.

Kathy Shanley opened Sarasota Trust & Estate Property Specialists, Inc. (STEPS) in 2004.
