Help for a Dog going blind

Hi-My 5 yr old Bearded Collie mix was diagnosed yesterday with Retinal Degeneration (PRA). There is no cure but it is not painful nor fatal. It is genetic and she has less than 6 months of some sight left. Does anyone have any tips on teaching a blind dog and her mom to adjust?
