Dia Sokol was present for the showing of her film, "Sorry, Thanks" which she directed and also co-wrote with Lauren Veloski. This truly indie film fulfilled the director's desire to ponder the dilemma of whether you can love even when the one you love is doing hurtful things (behind your back, but eventually with your knowledge). The film did a good job of showing the loveable qualities of all characters--helping us to understand why tolerance for the intolerable so often occurs in relationships.
Sokel said filming occurred in only 20 days. Non-professional ads were included in the cast.
