Bargain Books and Bubbly event

In this picture taken by John Pearce, Sarasota Literacy Council President Donald Kayton (L) and Executive Director Shon Ewens (R) graciously allowed me (Dan Christian, center) to show them our 1784, 5th edition of Samuel Johnson's Dictionary of the English Language while attending our Sarasota Literacy Day kick-off event. A. Parker's Books and Book Bazaar have declared the 8th of every month to be Sarasota Literacy Day...Literacy Council staff, members, tutors and accompanied students will receive a 10% discount on purchases from our stores. Donations from the public will also be gratefully accepted.
