Free Self Defense Demonstration June 20th, 9AM

I couldn't help wincing as I read what I thought would be funny. The Dating Horror Stories were very funny but also very disturbing. Many of the stories had enough information to make a pretty safe call that the men in question were likely abusers or future abusers. I'm no expert but I know a few signs: pushy behavior (trying to keep you from doing what you want to do like ahem... Leave!), chasing you out the door, running you down with the car, acting uncomfortable and weird if you mention another man. Some screws are loose in these guys. Please never meet someone you don't know yet at your house; Always ask a security guard or friend to walk you to your car, listen to your intuition, ask a friend to go with you when you are in unfamiliar territory, etc. etc.
Anyway this brings up something that is near and dear to my heart. Self Defense.
