Scarf It Up For Women's Cancer!
Cancer should not define us! My message to women who have lost their hair due to medical hair loss is: “Just because you have lost your hair does not mean you have to loose your sense of style”.
On October 4th, 4Women.com and Kelietza are joining forces in an effort to bring this message to women living with cancer. We will host the “Scarf It Up for Women’s Cancer” benefit event to raise funding for a “Scarf Bank” at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The Scarf Bank will provide funds for head coverings to female cancer patients in our community who could otherwise not afford them.
Kelietza, owned by Kelly Augustyniak, is an upscale boutique in Sarasota that offers exclusive international fashion and accessories for women. Kelly’s commitment to helping women find the perfect harmony of style and comfort by offering classic and one-of-a-kind fashions and her desire to give back to the community is a perfect complement to 4Women.
The highlight of the evening will be a unique fashion show, with women undergoing cancer treatments among the women modeling gorgeous fashions from Kelietza complemented by one-of-a-kind Beaubeau headscarves made with fabrics donated by top fashion designers such as Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang. These unique headscarves will then be auctioned to help raise financial support for the Scarf Bank. The benefit evening will include a live performance by Epic Ensemble- a collaboration of ballet dancers and classical musicians from the Sarasota Orchestra, gaming tables, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and more exciting auction items.
