HELP!!

As you may know The American Cancer Society has an incredible event called MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER WALK! This walk is a 5k walk and is held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Sarasota Polo Grounds.

We are in desparate need of bottled water!! Unfortunately, with this economy our larger sponsors are not able to provide the water that we have received for the walkers over the last few years... so I am pleading to OUR community for water! The American Cancer Society and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk gives back to our community and cancer survivors on a daily basis! I am asking our community to give back to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk by donating a case (or more) of bottled water!!

We are in need of 250 cases of water for our walkers on the day of the event - we only have 10 cases, thanks to Geckos Restaurants!!

If you would like to donate a case (or more) of water, please contact me via email Sarah_W10@live.com or email Elizabeth at Elizabeth.McGaharan@cancer.org or call Elizabeth at 941-365-2858 x 3766.

If you want to drop off bottled water at the American Cancer Society's office please call Elizabeth first for hours for drop off. If you want to donate but can not drop it off, please let us know and we will pick it up!!

See our website for event information:

Thank you so much!!

Elisa, thanks for the suggestion which we have had several people suggest as well.

Just an added note, we are recycling all the plastic water bottles this year!

I will donate water, but here's another thought. Encourage walkers to be eco-conscious by bringing their own re-usable water bottle.

Sarah, I will pass this on to our contact at waterboy that donated to our pond tour last year.
