K2 IS CHICAGO BOUND!

There's so much going on in the next few weeks at K2 Scrapbook Studio and we are trying so hard to make sure we fit everything in and make each and every event special for all of our customers.

Jessica and I have been mentally preparing ourselves for the incredible visual, emotional, and overwhelming stimulation that we are going to experience at our very first trip to CHA in Chicago. We are sooooo excited, scared, nervous, stoked, and every other emotion under the sun right now! We are developing a binder system to keep ALL of the manufacturer's show specials, sneaks, make and takes, and order forms organized so that we handle CHA with the utmost grace and get a good handle on EVERYTHING we are going to be ordering.

Thank you to everyone who has sent their wish lists for all the new lines; there are so many to choose from and it will be hard to please everyone but we are sure gonna try....and KEEP 'EM COMING!!

Jessica is bringing her laptop so she'll be able to blog about all the amazing stuff going on and she's bringing two 4 gig memory sticks and 3 re-chargeable batteries for her camera so you won't miss out on anything!

Jessica, Kim and Rita were looking at Pink Paislee, House of 3, Tattered Angels, Heidi Swapp (and the list goes on and on) yesterday and Jessica has never seen Kim so excited about anything since we've met her. She is like a kid in a candy store when it comes to all the new techniques they have to offer and she is super excited to have the chance to teach some very amazing classes for the rest of the year and in 2011.

She pointed out that "YOU MUST TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING...EVERY LAYOUT, EVERY PROJECT, EVERY BOOTH, EVERY MAKE-N-TAKE!" LOL! ~~~~~~~~~~

We have 2 events going on that need some major exposure that we could use your help with. The first one is our garage sale. ALL 10 TABLES SOLD WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK so you are going to have a lot to choose from and a lot of great deals on scrapbook supplies. What I need from everyone is to pass the word around town to all your friends, co-workers, crafty people and not so crafty people. Some vendors have chosen to sell not only product, but wonderful pre-made projects and goody bags. If you'd like you can stop by the store and pick up some 1/4 page flyers to give out to people that you think might be interested. These ladies need to make lots of money and make room for all the new wonderful stuff from CHA so let's help them out!

The second event that needs some exposure is our K2 Kids Kamp. We still have a few spots left to fill and we would love to see a full house of Kids having fun with glue all over the place, making a mess, and just having fun. I keep dreaming about the Kids Kamp week and I have high-expectations of myself for this event.I love kids and I always wanted to be a teacher so in a way I get to live out that dream for one week. We have so many different projects, games, and give-a-ways planned for them; they are gonna walk out of here not only with their creations but with great memories of all the fun they had at K2.Every camper gets a custom K2 Kids Kamp T-Shirt with their name on it. They'll be making hats, coozies, canvas bags, canvas night lights, wooden frames, jumbo clothespins, cards, tags, mini-albums, and of course their 8x8 chipboard album all about their summer vacation! And on Friday we will be having a pizza party to finish the week off.If you know anyone with kids, please pass the word along and again you can pick up 1/4 page flyers from the store to hand out if you like.
