The Sarasota Open: The Week's Events

On Monday, tennis fans gear up for the first day of Main Draw Play AND the opportunity to mingle with some of the athletes and coaches at The Player’s Party.  This year’s celebrity event is being hosted by Jesse Biter, The newly formed Sarasota Open Foundation President’s 2-story penthouse overlooking Sarasota Bay.  Guests will be able to enjoy one of the only roof-top “green spaces” in Sarasota.  According to Mr. Biter, “Monday night will be a great reception of the best players in the world to Sarasota benefitting the Sarasota Open Foundation, once again enhancing our community and culture through professional sports. The reception will include silent auction items for the foundation, sponsors of the Sarasota Open, local fans and of course some of the top players in the world.  I got involved with the Open because of my love for Tennis and my desire to see Sarasota continue to thrive as Florida's west coast premier destination.”

As the Main Draw looms on the horizon, spectators can look forward to the Player’s Party (Mon), Club Day (TUE), Fashion Day (Wed), Professional’s Day (Thu), Sponsor Appreciation Day (Fri), Semi Finals (Sat), Finals (Sun).  Tickets tot all tournament events can be purchased online at www.sarasotaopen.org or at the door.
