Hi Heather, Yes, we'd love for you guys to win but not because your yard looks bad. We want you to win because we like you both and know that it would help you greatly. Also we want your pup to have a nice yard. I wasn't thinking how tough your current situation would be for the dog.:( You are welcome to keep the tools as long as you like. It sounds like you guys are keeping very busy. Thanks for explaining this way if I get any more calls I can explain too. Glad to see there is someone else out there spending every waking moment with this contest besides Dave & I. We have lived & breathed this project for the past three months but we are loving it. We hope people will start having a more positive outlook because we would like to make this a yearly contest & even have additional companies interested in next years project. Tell grama way to go. Dave takes his hat off to her. My grandfather just turned 96!
I know exactly who your mom is in fact I insulted your father (by accident) They received our newsletter & for some reason I had your father's first name wrong. He kept asking your mom who was John, haha. Back to work now a contest monitor's job is never done. Lisa

Heather, I understand your concern, you can ask as many people as you want to join & vote. I encourage all of the contestants to do the same. As long as each of the members are only voting once a day & no one individual has more than one membership, then you are fine. Dave & I along with WQ are monitoring the contest closely. In fact a couple of your friends, I think may not have understood that they can only vote once a day, so we sent them a note letting them know that any additional votes posted in the same day wouldn't count. As you know this is our first contest of this size & so we are learning too. I am surprised by the negativity, but like you said it is a big prize at stake. I have to say we had concerns too after a few people had mentioned to us their concerns about so many people voting all at the same time. We figured maybe there was a voting party going on. haha. I wouldn't worry like I said as long as each individual only has one member profile & is voting once a day you are within the rules. What is your mom's name, didn't realize we knew her. Lisa

Yes, it was a lesson, aided by your dad telling me I was being negative and he could tell I was an Orbaker. What a guy!!! So glad he could hold up a mirror to my behavior.

You're welcome!! I can definately picture a lush oasis in that big barren backyard and ur lil pup living it up!! My Yorkie Charlie is a handful...guess he's just getting me and my man ready for a taste of what kids might be like! LOL! Nope, I don't know Renee Burdick. As I get older I'm finding out that the Burdick name is ALOT bigger than I thought. I was terrorized for having that last name as a kid and now I embrace it. :) LOTS OF LUCK!! I'll vote for you everytime!

Hi Heather,

Almost always if someone does not see their vote. They did not do it right. You may want to walk them through the process over the phone. Make sure they sign in....99% of the time they are not signed in and therefore can't vote!
