Pack away your heavy winter quilts and blankets. Choose easy to wash, brightly colored, cotton covers for your summer-weight quilts. Paint bedroom walls in blue or green tones so they look cool and inviting. Modern floral wallpapers are a wonderful idea for a feature wall in your bedroom. Floral wallpaper will furnish your bedroom with a great summer look.

Brighten up your Living Room
Replace your knitted or woollen cushion covers with covers made from bright summer materials. Alternatively, wrap a piece of colorful fabric around your cushions to add a summer style to your couch.

Add a display of pretty candles to your coffee table. On warm summer nights, turn off your electric lights and light the candles. Your living room will seem cooler because the lighting is softer.
