A Great Low Calorie Food
A Review On Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges

If you love the creamy taste of cheese but hate the calorie and fat content, you may be interested in trying Laughing Cow Light cheese wedges. These soft, spreadable cheese wedges have fifty percent less fat than comparable spreadable cheese products but still retain the great flavor that makes cheese such a delectable treat. At only thirty five calories per 21 gram wedge, you’re not going to feel guilty when you pop one of these individually wrapped wedges of cheese into your mouth.

I found this product when I was browsing the dairy aisle at my local grocery store looking for a cheese that was lower in fat and calories than conventional cheese.
The container of Laughing Cow Light cheese wedges caught my eye with its unique, round cardboard container complete with a photo of a laughing red cow on the top. Each box contained eight, individually wrapped spreadable cheese wedges. The lower calorie and fat content was just what I was looking for in a cheese product. There were three flavors to choose from in the light version of Laughing Cow cheese wedges. I chose the Original Swiss flavor and made note of the French Onion and Garlic and Herb flavors for future reference. The cost was a bit high at $2.99 for eight cheese wedges, but the low fat content and significant calorie savings over regular cheeses quickly won me over.

Upon returning home, I immediately opened the cardboard container and removed one of the brightly packaged Laughing Cow Light cheese wedges.
Each wedge was individually wrapped in printed foil with a photo of that joyous red laughing cow which is their logo. Opening the foil packaging on the cheese is easy using the red pull tab the company provides. One taste and I resolved to give up higher calorie cheese products. These light cheese wedges have very soft and creamy flavor with just a hint of sweetness that lingers alluringly on the tongue. They’re a natural for spreading onto crackers or fresh vegetables. Each 21 gram wedge provides you with enough cheese to cover ten or so crackers with a light coating. There are so many potential uses for this soft, creamy cheese. It can be used as a healthy alternative to high calorie butter on rolls and bread, spread on a sandwich or English muffin. It’s a nice substitute for both butter and cream cheese and is a quick and healthy snack by itself.

The only thing I regret about my Laughing Cow Light cheese wedge purchase is that I didn’t buy the other two flavors they offered. You can bet you’ll find them both in my grocery cart the next time I pay a visit to my local supermarket.
