More Stars Announced for the Sarasota Film Festival
New stars have been announced for the Sarasota Film Festival:
** Jena Malone who stars in the Opening Night Film, The Messenger will be in Sarasota for the entire week. She will be presenting the Audience Awards at the Filmmaker Tribute. You may have seen Jena in "Into The Wild", "Donnie Danko", and "Step Mom."
** Jeremy Renner will be in town Thursday, April 2 through Sunday, April 5. See him in the film "Lightbulb" at the festival. Jeremy has joined us at two prior festivals in "Neo Ned" and "Take." Jeremy will also be starring the new ABC series "The Unusuals."
**Stanley Tucci will be returning to the festival this year to be Master of Ceremonies at the Filmmaker Tribute. We loved him last year in his film "Blind Date." And who can forget him in "The Devil Wears Prada."
**Burt Young will be at this year's Filmmaker Tribute to honor Hal Ashby. During the festival, he also co-stars with Jon Voight in Ashby's director's cut of "Lookin' To Get." Young was nominated for an Oscar in his role in "Rocky."
