Paper: Off & On the Wall

Wallpaper designs of twelve local designers and artists, including Jack Alexander's elegant, one-of-a-kind faux wall treatment samples, are on exhibit at Florida Craftsmen Inc. in St. Petersburg from May 29 - July 24, 2009. Jack recently moved to Sarasota from Las Vegas, Nevada where, for four years, he and an 8-man crew of specialty faux-finishers and painters were responsible for creating and maintaining many of the murals and much of the faux-surface marble, wood, stone and sky ceiling treatments that grace the Paris Hotel-Casino, the Mirage Hotel-Casino, and the Venetian Palazzo Hotel-Casio Resort. Clients, decorators, contractors and collectors call him a "master" at his craft and credit his canvases, murals and faux-finishes as having healing properties. Don't miss this fantastic exhibition.
