"If You Give A Cat A Cupcake" fundraising event for Cat Depot

Would you like to find out what would happen if you give a cat cupcake? This popular children's book, written by Laura Numeroff, is the catalyst (no pun intended!) between Cat Depot and Cupcakes A Go-Go's fundraising event geared for children on October 17.

All proceeds from this event will go to Cat Depot, Sarasota's largest no-kill cat sanctuary and adoption center.

The day's festivities will begin with face painting, Find The Feline & Classic Cats activities, Guess How Many Cat Treats contest, raffles and more. Marsha Penuce, SNN Local News 6 Arts and Events Reporter, will read aloud the book to the children, followed by cupcake decorating, a basic course on how to care for a cat, and a tour of the new, state of the art Cat Depot facility, located on 17th Street.

The donation price is $10.00 per child and pre-registration is required.

Two sessions: 1:00-2:00, & 2:30 - 3:30
