“Altered Books" Demonstration by Jill Krasner at Art Uptown Gallery

Art Uptown Gallery’s own mixed media artist, Jill Krasner, will present her whimsical style as she explains and demonstrates her "altered books" technique on Thursday, April 4^th at 7pm at the gallery.  Krasner’s demonstration is free and open to the public.

Located at 1367 Main Street, in downtown Sarasota, Art Uptown Gallery provides a refreshing opportunity to see the work of a highly selective group of area artists. Continuously exhibiting work of its members for over 30 years, the gallery presents acrylic, oil and watercolor paintings, digital art, mixed media and photography, as well as creative works in wood, ceramics, jewelry and glass. The gallery is open Monday-Friday 11-5 and Saturday 10-4.
