“Mostly Maine,” a solo exhibit of paintings by Sarasota artist and art educator Jamie Friedli, opens Jan. 28 at Art Uptown, 1367 Main St., Sarasota. An artist’s reception is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 3, 6-9 pm at the gallery. The public is invited. No charge. The show runs through Feb. 25
