At 9 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 9, The Sexual Side Effects return to Sarasota for a free show at the Shamrock after wowing audiences at the Harvey Milk Festival. The Atlanta-based group has received numerous accolades in their hometown and considers their sound to be an amalgam of Britpop, post-punk and psychedelic indie rock. Sarasota-based Spark Notes will open.
