Moving Ethos Dance Company and Palmetto Art Center presents a weekend of art and movement. Following a movement workshop on Friday October 22md, the weekend continues to merge visual and performance art as Moving Ethos presents a concert reflecting the art work and space of the Palmetto Art Center. Turning brush strokes into body strokes, bringing sculptures to life, and capturing the eyes of onlookers, Moving Ethos will break down the walls between theater and gallery and introduce a new way to experience movement. An evening of dance both on the ground and in the air exploring the invention of movement and how we navigate the space and the art that inhabits it. Doors open early to offer you a chance to gaze at the art work prior to the performance and we invite you to stay afterward to talk with the artists and dancers. Saturday Oct. 23rd, Doors open at 6pm, Performance at 7pm, Palmetto Art Center: 907 5th Street West, Palmetto, FL 34221. $10 reserved tickets / $15 at the door / $20 for workshop & performance.
