Underlying Movement - A Community Workshop

Moving Ethos Dance Company and Palmetto Art Center presents a weekend of art and movement. Beginning with a movement workshop on Friday October 22nd, participants can experience and explore organic movement through a creative and physical means of expression. Using elements of improvisation, choreography and modern dance, we will get our bodies warm and ready to create a dance together. Pulling from our past and present experiences, we will make movement that reflects our emotions and logic in order to find a positive and affirming way to express and communicate using our most primitive tool – our bodies. No experience is required, just a willingness to explore and create in a non-competitive atmosphere. Performance by Moving Ethos to follow on Saturday October 23rd. Friday Oct. 22nd, 6:30 to 8pm at the Palmetto Art Center: 907 5th Street West, Palmetto, FL 34221. $15 just the workshop / $20 for the workshop & performance.
