Resized Flamingo photo for viewing.

This young flamingo, who had just settled in to take a nap, was keeping an eye on me while I shot this photo! I love it's beautiful colors and the flowing details of it's feathers. Nature photography allows me to stop, catch a breath, and admire nature's art; plus, I hope that others can do the same through viewing my photos. Cindy Leadingham

I hadn't painted in a really long time, but I needed a very special Mother's Day gift. My mom's house is a style we called vaguely Asian and so came "Karen's Poppies" (after my mother of course). It is a combination of Japanese Sumie style painting mixed with pen & ink with a watercolor wash.

This Photograph is of the sky during a sunset on Siesta Key Beach, Sarasota, Florida that I took December 2008. I love and enjoy taking on different approaches as well as exploring different areas of photography.

This is one of a series of collages that I have done with silver leaf, paper and paint on board. The actual piece measures 8"x10" I am inspired by the texture and depth that it holds.

Hello all,

I hadn't painted in a long time, but I needed a really special Mother's Day gift and so came "Karen's Poppies". It is a combination of Japanese Sumie style painting and pen & ink with a watercolor wash. I wanted it to co-exist happily with my Mom's style decor which we describe as vaguely Asian. Thanks for your consideration. Chellie

Babies at Mickey D's
I was sitting at McDonald's last week, and this little girl was celebrating her birthday with her family at a nearby table. I asked the mother if I could take a picture of her daughter, but the little girl was more intent on me photographing her little brother! This is the result! Hope you enjoy these two lovely siblings!

This mixed media on canvas is titled 'Myakka.' You may find yourself in a humid, hazy atmosphere that eventually leads to a place of mystery, intense light, and joy
Canvas size is 12" x 36".
