 HEART'S WISDOM   by   Satya Winkelman, M.A., C.P.

Do you respond to life from your neck up and let your logical mind rule? Or, are you more inclined to be an emotional reactor and allow feelings to run your show? There’s no sense in doing something you don’t feel, right? Wrong. Neither your mind nor emotions are wrong. The either/or, logic or emotion fight, is the problem. The key to finding a solution is:

Develop a conscious self-observer who both listens to the mind and feels the heart.

Remember that thoughts are the source of emotions, it is important to identify which thoughts are in charge.

Ask yourself how each of these beliefs and feeling states serve your highest good.

Feelings and logic become less adversarial, less rigid when you honor each with your heart's compassionate awareness. An important 18 inches, that space between mind and heart. By valuing and expressing both thinking and feeling aspects, they begin to soften and meld. With this blend and balance, you can better hear your Heart’s Wisdom.
