I painted it to express my dismay when I learned that two Michigan legislators (female) were banned from speaking when they dared to say the word "vagina" as they were debating a bill on abortion. Please read the article and Speak Out!

Having majored in ceramics at Bennington as an undergraduate, I appreciate the challenge of the kiln -- especially the Raku kiln -- in a way that most people don't.
