About Me
Owner of Inspirations Salon, I have been a stylist for a little over half of my life. I truly enjoy my journey with "hair" and am forever learning new ways to perfect the individual work that I do for clients.

I love life and nice smelling flowers.I get a kick out of children's laughter and watching them play. My two girls mean so much to me. I love to plan separate times together so that we can bond and get to know each other more. That is my true life. I love my family life and friends. We are always planning our next venture. My husband Chris always balances me out.
Interests and Hobbies
The stylists at my salon, Inspirations Salon, are my personal friends. We love learning color and new styles to keep with the forever changing trends. Other hobbies include camping in a RV at various places where you can discover your own oasis, spending time with my children and keeping up with their lifestyles from dirt bikes to cheerleading, from walking to running and eating right, it keeps us always on top of our play.

Do you have any "HAIR" questions that I may help you with... Just ask "ME" I'm the hair expert!

I've been a hair-care professional for over 22 years. I have served and helped people over the years with their health and the changes that can happen over time. As we age over time our hair loses its natural sebrum oil. In your 20's it seems to be at its healthiest peak. As we grow into our 30's and 40's we lose more and more which causes the hair to dull out and become brittle. And over time the hair thins out and becomes noticeably different. You have…

Could your artificial nails be linked to causing cancer?

Posted on June 23, 2010 at 9:30pm 3 Comments

Everyone loves the look of healthy nails. Every day as a beautician, I am learning about the health of what we put onto our nail beds to have those longer, shiner, prettier looking nails. For years, I wore acrylics and went through the pain of my bi-weekly appointments of getting my nail beds burned up by a file and the smelly acrylics and primers. Not only did they smell, but they burned and itched…

Are you clarifying your hair?

Posted on June 2, 2010 at 9:00pm 0 Comments

It's the summer time and our hair needs more attention right now than ever! You can start by using what you have at home in the refrigerator or pantry. Good ole baking soda. I have most of my clients doing this treatment in their own homes as part of their hair regimen.

Did you know that our water and shampoo can cause build up on the hair. If you feel that your hair is dull, not shiny or even limp and lifeless looking, you may be in the need for the treatment. It's easy and it…

Hi Erin,

Yes, the hair is still looking great (and the nails) thanks to you and Julie:-) You would fit in perfectly at Women with Moxie, where we have a great group of independent women business owners, from all walks of life. I don't know of any salons in the group, so you would be a great addition. I have been a member for about 4 months, and going to the mixers for about 6, and have met some really talented and interesting people. For more info on the mixer, here is the link:

Please let me know if you want to go. I will probably stop off at Horsefeathers to drop off my door prize offering, and return around 7.45-8pm, as I'm going to see Kendrick Meek, who is running for the Senate at 7pm. You can join me, or meet me at Horsefeathers. If not this month, then maybe next?

Erin and Julie, thank you both SO much for the wonderful gifts you gave Maia and myself; our hair cuts and colors look fabulous, and the manicures and pedicures we received were totally awesome. It has been so long since I have been pampered, never mind made to feel like a special woman again, so you have my unwavering gratitude. I shall be recommenting you HIGHLY to everyone I meet from now on. And Erin, if you still want to join me at Women with Moxie's mixer, at Horsefeathers, next Wednesday, please let me know.
Best wishes, and many thanks,
Tina
